Marilyn Ward, "Dancing Deer," United Kingdom

My petite
Miracle of perfection
Luminous you shine
Cornucopia of colours in the sun
Musical heartbeats flit and hum
Sweet and vibrant
Such a jewel
Like a rainbow
Shimmering in view
A darling masterpiece
A poem, a prayer
I exalt your creation every day
Ma petite
Tiny and bright
This hummingbird
Within my sight

God's Temple
Could it possibly be,
that holy place is inside of me!
I'm not a building made out of stone,
But of flesh, water blood, and bone!
My mind can't conceive such a thing,
Yet, your spirit is telling me something!
You’re wanting to abide within,
Oh, Lord! Yes! I invite You in!
Cleanse me Lord from the Inside-out.
All impurities must be thrown out!
My body to you, Lord, I Surrender!
Your perfect love, my soul finds so tender.
No need to go any place,
You've prepared the perfect place!
My body, the holy of holies, became
Now’ God's Temple I will remain!

Eclipse.
The pomp of power and proud feint Long-drawn darkness deeply afraid In dark joyless river's complaint Ancient empires silently swayed The path of glory's cheer passed on Living lyre slumbers in heart Closed eyes fancied in ways forlorn Worthless memories will not depart Formula phrase fears of Romans. Should not follow souls to their grave. The prophet prays force Herculean Their epitaph engraved, heavenly stave. On my bosom the glory of Greece prays. So, in the parent’s lake the Spartans blaze. © 2019 Krishnasankar Acharjee The Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta, 431-404 BCE

ENGLISH VERSION
Closure
Night has ended
Dreams have escaped
Clouded sky
As though closing shutters
Mocking stars
Eyes shut
Pride burnt into ashes
Ears yearning to hear
The loving whispers
Trying to clasp someone
In his arms
Song and dance stopped
Heart longing
for a sunny day
But
Something
is sweeping him away
Robbing his world

a poet’s heart
breaks not as much for suffering
but that the world is as it is
when it could be much more
and thus his restless heart

an artist’s eye
seeks for beauty
suggesting questions
“what if?” and “why not?”
that we may hunger more

blessed be God’s messengers
prophets in the village square
asking troubling questions
that passers-by can’t shake
until they find answers

Mother Of Exiles

Your eyes say there's a room for everyone
I lost my way, welcome me to your shore
Light up your torch, I'm avoiding the sun
Of fear as I sailed across with my oar.
Are there words unsaid in your silenced lips
The waves churn, the winds gather the voices
Behind those walls e'en thus of rolling ships
And thunderclaps above frightened faces.
Is there a loving embrace known to me
Is there a warm home beyond tall, old pines;
Roots of battles as old as history
Here, is my ambrosial desire that chimes.
I'd sing the songs of heroes rejoicing
Man; so shall the seabird's breadth of wanting.

Venimos o nos vamos?
Me cuestiono cada día.
Vivamos cada momento.
Es aprendizaje de vida!
Si la razón no fluye espera mínimo minutos..
Para que tú alma fluya.
Are we coming or are we leaving?|
I question myself every day.
Let's live every moment.
It's life learning!
If reason doesn't flow, wait a few minutes.
For your soul to flow.

Tomorrow Tomorrow shall be a beautiful day.. Differs from the day that just past away.. It feels the soul strongly to get up fairly.. Tom...
