The
colors of my world,
had faded to black and white,
nothing seemed right
and then you stepped into my world –
filling it with the colors of love.
You brought red roses,
took me dancing in the spring rain,
as we turned about,
the sun came out
and brought a rainbow arching across the sky.
You showed me so much love,
that everything suddenly seemed brighter,
the sunrises more glowing,
the orange tones of the sunsets sparkled,
the velvety dark of night,
seemed like a soft, dark blue blanket,
upon which silver stars shone.
Suddenly I looked all around,
there were colors everywhere,
you kisses sent fireworks across the skies,
yes, you and only you –
brought the colors of love.
had faded to black and white,
nothing seemed right
and then you stepped into my world –
filling it with the colors of love.
You brought red roses,
took me dancing in the spring rain,
as we turned about,
the sun came out
and brought a rainbow arching across the sky.
You showed me so much love,
that everything suddenly seemed brighter,
the sunrises more glowing,
the orange tones of the sunsets sparkled,
the velvety dark of night,
seemed like a soft, dark blue blanket,
upon which silver stars shone.
Suddenly I looked all around,
there were colors everywhere,
you kisses sent fireworks across the skies,
yes, you and only you –
brought the colors of love.
