Colors Of A New Day

And so colors were created
haw and dew
a rosebud awakens, hopes anew.

The sweet taste of a smile
if you will be but mine
my cherry lips do define.

You can be all the shades of blue
turquoise, sapphire, cerulean
You'll be the most amazing ocean

My eyes will ever see.

You can be gray as the clouds
with flashes of heaven's lights
I will be here when darkness benights.

Embellished with rainbows
kaleidoscope shades of powder and pink
the most divine wonder the sky could ever ink.

You can be the moon rising
bloody and bright
and may we, through the moonwake of mine give light

Shine clearest and so perfection combine.
