Science and Philosophy-05
Part 5
Part 5
Spinoza said that everything, for its part, tends to stick to its own existence. The desire to exist or to exist forever is the essence of things. Therefore, we must be longing for eternity. For Schopenhauer, every object in the world is expressed as eager or about to become. In other words, people are completely controlled by the will to exist. The ego can be seen as a body. Everything has the will of existence and long for eternity.
