Chandan Bhattacharya, Garhbeta, West Bengal, India

I HAD GONE
.
Once I had gone to the moon
To fetch some peace.
But when I was too close to him
I became astonished
To see that
He's totally nacked.
I had gone to the sun
To be enriched in power.
But alas! He was so angry
That he threw all his clothings
Into a shower.
I had gone to the ocean
To regain my youth
But when I met her
I saw that she was totally bare.
And she lashed down on my feet
Without any care.
I had gone to a river
To quench my thirst,
But I had seen in wonder
That the unclothed river
And the nacked moon
Are kissing and hugging together.
I had gone to a mountain
For the remedy of my pain.
But my all efforts were in vain
When I heard
Being bare he himself
Was in pain.
I had gone to a peacock
To get some beauty.
But sorry to say,
Proudly he told,
"My bare body is my beauty surely."
Then I had gone to a land
To take some grains
She had neither Vail nor clothings.

She was crying , saying that
A farmer just her raped .
But they all are self-sufficient
And powerful,
They have no disease
No crisis.
They all are bare
And they have dare
To survive here.
They themselves
Take their care.
And only we,
The human beings......
We have various clothings,
Buildings, apartments
But we are
Totally dependent
To the nature..........
Though the nature
Is surely bare.
We may roam through air
But our minds and hearts
Are not clear.
We may enrich the civilization
Through newmorous invention.
Though the bare nature
Gives us inspiration,
But so called man made civilization
Only provides us war,cruelty,greed
Hunger, inequality, unjust and abortion.
