Small but Dangerous

A thousand years old giant tree ,
On the top of a snowy hill top ,
Was proud of its power and shine,
Flourishing with His grace divine.
All who were jealous conspired ,
To ground him, was their ill desire ,
Age, storms, snow all tried their best,
All their might and power ended in rust.
Work was entrusted to the termite,
Slowly and steadily secretly they bite,
Ate up the strength and cut the veins ,
From within did the trick in no time take.
With a thud the giant fell with an advice,
The tiny enemy within remains unnoticed,
Beware of the small but dangerous vice ,
That destroys the mighty from inside .
