Unwritten Parchment : A collaboration by Myrna Dupre Badgerow
and Dale Warren
(Dale)
Her quill was full
But yet the parchment was empty
For the love she once felt had dried up within her empty heart
Her quill was full
But yet the parchment was empty
For the love she once felt had dried up within her empty heart
(Myrna)
Her empty heart craves to be filled once more
Her thirsty soul has wept every tear it could
She feels lost and broken , but still she dreams
Of another love to heal the frayed edges and tattered seams of her existence
Perhaps it is there but not ready to be known
Perhaps it waits for the right time to be....
Perhaps it waits for him too feel it to....
Perhaps
Her empty heart craves to be filled once more
Her thirsty soul has wept every tear it could
She feels lost and broken , but still she dreams
Of another love to heal the frayed edges and tattered seams of her existence
Perhaps it is there but not ready to be known
Perhaps it waits for the right time to be....
Perhaps it waits for him too feel it to....
Perhaps
(Dale)
If she sees him in her dreams the words would dance along the parchment
If love found her broken pieces maybe the hope will mend the dryness within her soul
The frayed and tattered edges still blow in the silence of her heart
If she sees him in her dreams the words would dance along the parchment
If love found her broken pieces maybe the hope will mend the dryness within her soul
The frayed and tattered edges still blow in the silence of her heart
(Myrna)
Perhaps he too will see her in his dreams
And she feels the warmth beginning to fill her
As those frayed and broken pieces begin to mend as they blow sweetly within her heart
And her soul longer weeps for what was
Even if what she wishes for doesn’t come to be
He has helped her move forward
Yes, perhaps, it is time
Perhaps he too will see her in his dreams
And she feels the warmth beginning to fill her
As those frayed and broken pieces begin to mend as they blow sweetly within her heart
And her soul longer weeps for what was
Even if what she wishes for doesn’t come to be
He has helped her move forward
Yes, perhaps, it is time
(Dale)
The time never came her quill remained full
The parchment lay empty as the frayed and tattered edges wilted into dust
Her thirsting soul was never quenched
Her heart wept in bitter grief
The time never came her quill remained full
The parchment lay empty as the frayed and tattered edges wilted into dust
Her thirsting soul was never quenched
Her heart wept in bitter grief
